Aspen real estate surges for the month of September thanks to the $90 million repurchase of the Snowmass Base Village by Related.

30 cents on the dollar is a nice repurchase of assets including Viceroy, unsold condos in both Capitol Peak Lodge and Hayden Lodge, and the rest of the Base Village Snowmass development.
September marked the third up month this year in Aspen Snowmass Real Estate sales.
Total sales through September are over $1 billion compared to the entire 12 months of the 2009 recession year, just getting over $1 billion in sales.
If the 4th quarter remains strong, Aspen should have its best year in sales since 2008.
