Aspen, Snowmass Village, and Basalt real estate listings are down 11 percent from a year ago.

The Aspen real estate market is strengthening. Listing in Aspen are off by 12 percent from a year ago.
Vacant land sales in Aspen have been the strongest in the past 12 months pulling down listed lots 16 percent from a year ago. But even Aspen homes for sale are less by 15 percent from a year ago. This has all improved buyer confidence.
West End and Red Mountain has already seen prices starting to move higher because of less supply. Even Snowmass Village has seen a decrease in supply except for condos that have remained the same, even though Viceroy added 122 condos. The good news is the Viceroy is expected to have sold 30+ condos so far.
With the drop of inventory, Aspen is expected to turn more towards a seller’s market that has not been seen since the first part of 2008.
Aspen real estate is expected to have a strong summer.
