Aspen – The Aspen Snow mass real estate markets in these ski mountain resorts bounced back from the low in 2009, but still are not close to their all time highs.
The sales volumes continue to be up over double digits over 2009, according to Land Title Guarantee Company.
Sale volumes for Aspen Snow mass area real estate are way up for 2010 over 2009. We will be way over $1 billion in sales for 2010.
Record sales for Aspen Snow mass real estate occurred in 2006 at $2.64 billion, followed in 2007 by $2.52 billion.
In 2008, sales volume dropped 46 percent as a result of the recession, and then dropped to an all time low, falling another 21 percent last year.
However, I now believe we are starting to see a turnaround in this market after 2 hard years. The sales volume is up 18% for Aspen Snowmass real estate, and the number of listed properties has fallen by 13%.
We are finally seeing some optimism in the Aspen Snowmass real estate marketplace.
