Aspen- Sales volume was up an impressive 45% in Pitkin County (Aspen Snowmass Area) for November 2010 compared to November 2009, according to Land Title Guarantee Company.
It turned out to be the best November since 2006 or since the downturn in the economy.
Year to date number were also almost 15% better than 2009.
The number of transactions was down 8%, but the year to date numbers through November 2010 is only down 3%.
The median family home in Pitkin County (Aspen Snowmass Area) was $3,175,000, whereas the average single family home was $4,328,538 through November 2010.
