What is even more incredible is that I know of many that own their property under another entity. So it is more likely that there are over 60 Billionaires that own property or have an interest in Aspen Snowmass Real Estate. It is remarkable that we have more Billionaire owners concentrated in Aspen than anywhere else in the world.
Who are these billionaires? Many are well known professional sports owners and/ or CEO’s. Others are hedge fund owners and/ or business owners such as John Paulson who owns Prince Bandars former residence in Aspen that is the size of the Whitehouse in Washington DC. David Koch from the Koch brothers owns a large home towards Ashcroft. I’ve heard the owner of AutoZone has a house in Wildcat. Too many billionaires to keep track of. And of course there are many celebrities that are worth some money but are not Billionaires that own in Aspen too. The average single family home sold for $7.4 million during this year’s 2018 first quarter. So you do need some money to own a place in Aspen, Snowmass or even the area.
