Aspen Snowmass Flight Map Information
Aspen Snowmass has hundreds of flight daily to the Aspen airport, Eagle airport, and Denver Airport. Aspen airport is located just minutes from downtown Aspen and only 6 miles from Snowmass Village. The Aspen airport is considered the best located for winter activities in the world. Eagle Airport is only 70 highway miles from Aspen. And Denver International Airport is about a 4 hour drive to Aspen. Like I said, there are now three major airlines flying right into the Aspen airport.
•United Express: CRJ-700 regional jet service (66 seats including First Class and Economy Plus). Frequent connecting service from Denver, nonstop jet service from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago/O’Hare and new for 2010-2011, Houston.
CONNECTING SERVICE: Perfectly timed connections to Aspen will be available throughout the day from nearly 200 cities throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand & the Pacific Rim.
•American Airlines: CRJ-700 aircraft operated by American Eagle (64 seats including first class). NEW nonstop service to Aspen from Dallas/Ft. Worth (1 flight daily) and Los Angeles (1 flight daily).
CONNECTING SERVICE: New one-stop international connection from Australia and New Zealand into Los Angeles on Quantas and connections from Brazil, Argentina and the United Kingdom into Dallas on American Airlines.
•Frontier Airlines: Bombardier Q400 regional aircraft (74 seats) operated for Frontier by Lynx Aviation. Nonstop service to Aspen from Denver (4 flights daily).
CONNECTING SERVICE: from 70 cities coast-to-coast and nine international destinations.
There are also major airlines flying into Eagle too. United Airlines and American Airlines have direct flights from some major cities into Eagle. Denver now offers discount airline service from two dicount airline carriers from major US cities. The discount airlines are Southwest and Frontier. Frontier also connects to take your right into Aspen Snowmass airport.
We also have Grand Junction airport about a 2 hour drive away. However, you can always land in Grand Junction because it gets so little snow because the climate is more dry and closer to being in the desert. Some of the flights may be a lot more economical too.
